Take Every Opportunity

Hey DV! Throughout this past week, I’ve been thinking a lot about the opportunities that I have been given in life. They’re nearly innumerable. I have thought about the opportunities I’ve taken, and the ones I haven’t, the times that I’ve stepped out of my comfort zone and the times that I’ve just stayed in my lane and kept away from the things that may make me feel uneasy.

As I look back on all of the opportunities that I have had up until this point in my life, I think about how many times I have decided to just seize the awkwardness and go for it, even if I may not be looking forward to the opportunity at hand. Thinking about these awkward times has helped me to realize that the best things in life can come from those opportunities that you almost didn’t take. I can’t even begin to count how many people I’ve met and how many skills that I’ve gained from stepping outside of my comfort zone and doing the things that I don’t want to do. I promise you one thing, you will be truly blessed if you take that chance, deny your negative thoughts about it, and just do it.

As you go into this next week, remember this. Seize the awkward and take EVERY opportunity!!
