Advocate for Ag!

Did you know that agriculture contributed over $1.5 trillion to the US Economy? Or that only 2% of the US population are farmers?

Being in FFA, you’ve probably heard time and time again about how vital agriculture is to our world. It employs millions of people, puts food on everyone’s table, keeps our businesses running, and is the reason you have clothes on your back. What a lot of people fail to realize, however, is how many people lack a genuine understanding of this industry and a desire to learn more.

A lot of people lived misinformed or don’t have any knowledge of the industry even though it impacts them in countless ways! I encourage you to take opportunities to educate yourself more about the inner workings of agriculture and to inspire other people to do the same. Share posts on social media, talk about ag topics at events, invite people into ffa, read current events, and remember there’s always ways to spread the story if ag!
