Continuing a Legacy

June 20th, 3:23 PM, I was sworn in as the 2024-2025 District V President. After the adrenaline wore off, I realized what an honor had been bestowed upon me. I had been elected to lead the best District in Indiana! Whoa!! Soon I came to terms with how serious this task was. I now had to lead and direct a group of people who would scrutinize my every move. How was I to do that? Well, I had to borrow a page from someone else’s book and look at my role models. John C. Maxwell once said “Leadership is invoking in others the capacity to dream.” And so it is my pleasure and great responsibility to help District V dream. Additionally a retired District V President shared the following from Ralph Nader; “The function of leadership is to produce more leaders, not more followers”So whether it is helping to grow leaders, planning for LDE’s, or going out and practicing CDE’s, District V, let me help you dream!
