As this upcoming week is my sweet sixteen I thought it would be a perfect chance for a reminder to celebrate! Over the past year I have learned the importance of celebrating your own achievements. I recently returned from a mission trip to Ecuador and one of the biggest cultural differences is how grateful they are for every little thing and how much they celebrate. Here in America we celebrate a lot of group things, team events, or national events. What about celebrating yourself? In FFA we do a lot of things on our own. There are a lot of independent competitions, events, and you gain leadership role on your own. It is still extremely important to celebrate your goals and accomplishments no matter how big or small. This is what can motivate you to continue doing larger things!
