Adventure is Out There

If you know me, you know that my biggest dream is to experience all that life has to offer. Whether that means traveling across the county or across the world. I love to see new things and meet new people! This summer, I had the opportunity to go on the trip of a lifetime: a cruise to Alaska. I don’t even have the words to describe how beautiful Alaska really is, but that is not the part I remember the most. I remember the people-not just the people in Alaska, but the people who worked on the cruise ship. One night, I got to know one of the ladies that worked on the boat, and her name was Mya. Mya grew up in India and was considered extremely lucky to be given the chance to work on this ship. Even though she went to the same places 8 to 10 times a year, she would always look forward to seeing everything Alaska had to offer. Listening to her story made me realize just how much I take for granted. Mya consistently sees the beauty in the world, lets seek the beauty around us by meeting new people, making memories, and chasing our dreams. DV if Mya can do it, so can we; adventure is out there, no matter who you are!
